Zytron is a highly customizable zk-powered Layer 2 framework that serves as the execution backbone of Zypher’s AI Chain on BNB Chain. Designed specifically for AI agents, Zytron enables scalable, trustless, and gasless deployment of autonomous AI agents and their interactions on-chain.
Built with native support for zero-knowledge proofs, decentralized proof generation, and modular cryptographic primitives, Zytron empowers AI agents to perform complex reasoning, state transitions, and decision-making with provable integrity and full transparency.
Why Layer 2? Blockchains are scaling via Layer 2 rollup frameworks to achieve cost efficiency, customization, lower barriers to entry, and dedicated blockspace. Compared to standard rollup frameworks, Zytron goes beyond smart contract–level optimizations such as zero gas fees, wallet abstraction, and chain abstraction. It is also equipped with a series of precompiled contracts and cryptographic primitives designed to support zk-powered AI Agent applications, as detailed in our whitepaper. Most importantly, the Zypher Mining program—the core decentralized protocol for AI Agent asset verification—is deeply integrated within Zytron. For developers, we have abstracted away the complex mathematics and cryptography in zero-knowledge systems, allowing AI Agent developers to focus on building intelligent agents. With Zypher SDKs, frontends built on popular AI engines and frameworks can easily deploy zk-enabled AI Agents on-chain. Using Zypher SDKs, developers can “build a zk AI Agent as easily as forking Uniswap,” democratizing composable, verifiable, and provably fair AI Agent applications for the broader community.
Zypher’s stack is highly modular, consisting of 3 permissionless components, i) circuit market (ZK SDKs), ii) proof market, iii) verification contract. During each game, multiple zk proofs are generated to verify players’ data validity. Proof generation is outsourced to the proof network, ensuring high quality gameplay and being standardized with mining incentives.
